From Prolific CSV to useful earnings insights.
A quick guide to importing studies privately, keeping your records up to date and protecting your locally saved information.

Open your Prolific submission history
Sign in to Prolific in your normal browser and visit its Submissions section.

Download a full CSV export
Use Prolific’s submission-history download/export option. If there are filters applied, clear them first if you want your complete history.

Open Prolific Tracker
Click Open Tracker, choose a display name on your first visit, then open Import / backup.

Choose your CSV and check the columns
Select the downloaded file on your device. Verify the detected study name, start date, reward, bonus and status columns, and confirm the import.

Refresh your data whenever you like
After new studies or changed approval statuses, export a fresh Prolific CSV and import it again. Matching submissions are updated rather than double counted. Check the import summary for any unmatched or ambiguous records.

Make a local backup
Download a JSON backup after imports or important edits. Browser storage can be cleared or lost, and we cannot restore your data from a server.
Quick Import and Android Share
BETA · ExperimentalStandard CSV upload is the recommended and most dependable method. The beta Quick Import button opens Prolific's real Submissions page so you can download a CSV yourself. It does not read your signed-in page or collect your Prolific login.
On some Android devices, after installing Prolific Tracker as a web app from Chrome, you may be able to share a downloaded .csv file from Files/Downloads directly to Prolific Tracker. If supported, it opens the ordinary CSV preview; studies are only saved when you confirm the import. Android Share is experimental and may not be offered on your device. If it fails, select the downloaded CSV in the normal uploader instead.
The installed app temporarily stages shared CSV text in browser-local storage to hand it to the import preview. It is cleared after successful preview loading. No automatic Prolific scraping or account sync is performed.

Awaiting-review rewards are estimated pending earnings. Returned, rejected and timed-out advertised rewards are not treated as money owed to you. Screened-out rewards are only counted when a real payment is recorded. The dashboard groups studies by their start date, not when payment reaches your bank.
Mixing pounds and dollars
Use the USD + GBP view to get a combined USD estimate using your chosen conversion rate. Your original reward currencies remain intact, and conversions are estimates rather than actual withdrawals.
